The third and Final circuit of the central school’s 7s came to a climax on Sunday 25th hosted at kings Park Arena, Bweyogerere by St Peter’s Nalya.
The event attracted a number of fans who brought energy and were the 8th man for the team. The Spena fan base was enormous and electric throughout the tournament as they cheered on their team wholeheartedly.
Namilyango College fielded 2 team’s and they went head to head in the semifinals. However, the main team dismantled their counterparts 42:00 to book their place in the finale.
Hana on the other hand had to go through a stubborn and persistent London College, managing to finish the job in the second half and winning the game 19:07.
The finale was a tight contest as it went into half time in a 7 all stalemate. Hana however managed managed to create some breathing gap between their opponents with 2 tries in the second half but the Namilyango team wouldn’t just go away as they also got one of their own. Time was however not on their side and Hana clinched the victory.
Hana was awarded overall winners of the Central School’s 7s having won 2 of the circuits and being runner-up in the other circuit.

Hana International won overall Central schools 7s.
The circuits were also qualifiers for the USSSA Ball Games 2 scheduled for later in July at St Mary’s College Rushoroza in Kabale. 6 teams managed to qualify and they are as follows.
