KIU Titans were able to get that long awaited sweet revenge against the UCU Canons who shocked them with a huge second half comeback in the second half in round 1.

It was an even quarter with the Canons Slightly edging the Titans 15:13. Peter Siuma was with a huge 1st quarter, scoring 9 points.

The Titans came back stronger in the second and the Canons didn’t know what hit them. The Titans offense was on fire whereas the Canons seemed to have run out of armor scoring just 9 points compared to 20 for the Titans.

2 back to back 3 point shots from UCU’d kayanja Jerry cut the lead to 2, but the Titans responded swiftly with an 11:2 run to close the third quarter with an 11 point lead.

It was all done and dusted in the final quarter as the lead just kept increasing eventually, the Titans winning with an 18 point difference.

Denis Balungu led the scoring with 20 points accompanied by 8 rebounds and 1 assist.

Saidi Amisi was with a wonderful performance posting 19 Points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists.

UCU had 3 players in double digit figures, Jimmy Otim (11pts, 5 rebs, 2 assists), Jerry Kayanga ( 11points, 4 rebs &1 assist) and finally Peter Sifuma who had a monstrous performance with 17 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists.
