The miracle Ravens took the game by storm against Nabisunsa. Having lost out by 1 point against KIU Rangers in the previous fixture, the Ravens set their sights on making easy work of the High School side.

The Miracle Ravens applied the full court press pinning the Nabisunsa side in their back court and forcing turnover after turnover.

As as result, they grabbed the game by the horns and ended up with a 16 point lead to close the first half.

The Ravens offense led by Akello Winnifred just kept launching attack after attack and the Nabisunsa defense just couldn’t stop them.

Despite the Nabisunsa outscoring in the final quarter, more than enough damage had been made and the Ravens walked away with an 18 point victory.

Akello Winnifred was in beast mode and registered the second triple double this year. She posted 29 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists. She added on that with 5 steals and 1 block and the shooting was 55% FG.

Maria Namukwaya (15 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist) and Brenda Alyano (16 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists) were the other top performers for the Miracle Ravens.

Darlene Tashobya was with double double posting 19 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and was the main scorer for Nabisunsa.

Tamasha Nsubuga was also on the supporting cast sprouting offensively in the second half. She posted 17 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist.

Ravens had 21 steals, 25 assists and 19 turnovers compared to 9, 16 and 33 for Nabisunsa respectively.

Nabisunsa registered more rejections though, a whole 6 blocks compared to just 1 for the Ravens.

Ravens shot 37% FG and 46% 2P while Nabisunsa were 29% FG and 32% 2P.

Nabisunsa was better on the Free Throw line 23/36 while Ravens had 11/19.
