The FUBA Div 1 returned over the weekend after 3 weeks of inactivity and it was a mixture of results as teams continue to grind, seeking promotion to the National Basketball League.
The JT Jaguars have so far been very impressive losing only 1 game in round 1 and they returned to action, taking care of business as expected.
They managed to get double wins against the Tropical Royals in a 1 point game and closing the week against Falcons in an unexpectedly low scoring game.

George Agasi recorded a double double with 10 pts, 13 rebs, 3 ast, 2 stl and 2 blks against Falcons. It was a collective performance from the Jaguars against Royals who had 3 hot players.
The Falcons managed to pick up a victory against Charging Rhinos in a 21 point game courtesy of a big first half performance.
Mark Ngobi, off the bench was the Achilles heel for the Charging Rhinos as he scored 23 points with 100% FG.
The Tropical Royals also picked up big victory against Victoria University after that sore loss to Jaguars.
Joseph Bwaku was leading the game with 19 points and 22 rebs. Allan Nandala also had 22 points on the day.
Livingstone registered 1 win and loss against Gulu Hawks and Old Tymers respectively.
The Old Tymers started off strongly getting an 11 poing advantage to end the first quarter and by the time Livingstone woke up, it was too late thus losing out.
Stone City side however made amends in their second game picking up big victory against Gulu Hawks in a slow game.
Diopa Durocher lukusa was in fill force dropping a 17 pts, 12 rebs double double and 100% FG. Joshua Namutegere was also a good facilitator with 17 points, 6 rebs and 3 assists.

Nkumba Marines continued from where they stopped picking up another victory to make it 9 in a row. They finished the business as expected against Kampala University Eagles in a 3 point game.
Chuol Dut Abraham made a huge impact off the bench dropping 24 points and 7 rebs while Mayep Majok (17) and Highman Ssemakula (12) followed closely in scoring.
K.U Eagles had 4 players in double digits, Joseph Drani(16), Erik Ariko(10), Micheal Kuol (11) and Okello Morris (14).
Entebbe Knight Riders narrowly edged Diamonds in the Sun in a 2 point game that was closely contested. The early 5 point lead to close the first quarter proved to be very crucial as the Diamonds just couldn’t catch up despite spirited fight.
Riders’ Innocent Ocakacon posted 11 pts, 10 rebs while Colin Mukiza 16 points and Tekkwo Julius 14. Diamonds also 3 players in doubles, Davis Niwandinda (17), Jude Ochwo (13) amd David Mutekanga (10).
Gulu Hawks also picked up crucial win against Entebbe Archers to break their losing streak.
Majok Deng (15), Donald Ssali (12) and Lemata Hamis (12) all turned up big for the Gulu based club to ensure that chances of survival are increased.
