The FUBA Div 1 returned and a couple of games were postponed due to multiple reasons.

The UPDF Lady Hawks picked up expected huge victory against Makerere Sparks on Saturday. Despite the Sparks fielding a couple of new signings, the UPDF were a far much better side with more speed, skill, intensity, fitness , experience and so much more.

They had 6 players in double digits Patience Nantume (13), Stella Marris Lunkuse (11), Linda Michelle(11), Sandra Asiimwe (12), Aisha Namakula (13) and Fauzia Namasamba (10).

Legends opened the second round against the Lady Jills and they picked up a very big victory to continue their pursuit for qualification to the NBL.

Big second half from the Legends as they went off offensively whilst the Jills seemed to just lack on both ends of the floor.

Nabulobi Franceas, as usual went off dropping 18 points while Hamala Miriam followed with 11.

Tv commentator a d former MVP Gloria Kyomugisha, Assassin Rebecca Akullo and Hatima Kassim, all former stars in their days made their debit for the Legends.

The YMCA Lady Hamstars were able to hold off the Tigers who had a late surge deep in the fourth quarter.

The Hamstars went into the fourth quarter with a 12 point lead and despite the big fight, the Tigers just didn’t have enough to cause the turn around.

Amy Grace Chan and Elsy Khaboshe once again led the YMCA side to victory dropping 14 and 12 points respectively.

Vivian Kasowole was in beast mode despite her team losing. She dropped 19 points, 9 rebs and 1 assist.
