Day 2 of the Mileke Border 7s has been action packed for the quarter finals and a few upsets have been seen leaving so many fans unsure of whether to be happy or sad.

The Heathens made very easy work of the Plascon Mongers who were making so many errors and getting punished. They scored 2 tries off the restart after the Mongers lost a bit of concentration and they were able to capitalise.

Walukuba Barbarians upset the Impis in a very very tight contest. The Impis had the lead with about a minute to go but a knock on by Impis in the Try area gave Walukuba the possession and eventually punished the Impis. There seemed to be enough time for the Impis to win the game but a rushed pass was deemed to have gone forward and the Barbarians ran away with the win.

The Jinja Hippos were on the casp on upsetting the Tororo Crest but tables turned around in the second half and the host got away with the victory.

Odhiambo opened the scoring for the Hippos and Yasin Waiswa extended it to 12 at the start of the second half.

Tororo Crest pulled one back and the momentum seemed to shift to them and they kept launching attacks. They soon found another opening, scoring between the sticks and getting the conversion.

The biggest game was the Black Pirates up against the Kobs and the former handed out a very big punishment to the Legends based side.

The Pirates led the game 7:0 at half time and the Kobs still had some life in them to fight. Komakech turned and twisted the last defender Conrad Mukwaya, who eventually got dizzy and couldn’t keep up.

The kobs still had some fight and tried to launch some attacks which were all futile due to the many errors they made.
