The Mileke-Border 7s have unfolded yet more drama and this time round it is the host team Tororo Crest that is causing a train wreck with impeccable display of Rugby.

The Jinja Hippos won all there group games and finished on top of group D. Their match up against the Mongers was the most interesting one with both teams going toe to toe, but the Hippos just edging the Entebbe based side in the finals minutes of rhe game.

Walukuba were also 3/3 despite losing their opening game on the pitch against Kobs. They made and an appeal against the kobs for fielding and ineligible player and thus got a 20:00 win.

They went ahead to dismantle toothless Rhinos 27:00 and sealed the day with a humongous 47:00 win against Mbale Elephants.

Kobs got the business done in their last 2 group games after having lost an appeal in the opener against Walukuba.

They put 47 past Mbale Elephants and finished with a 26:07 win against the Rhinos.

The Pirates were also perfect, 3/3 and they top group B. The players all looked smooth making just but a few uncostly errors in all their game. They played the Impis in the final game but despite putting up a fight in the first half, the Makerere side eventually gave away and the Pirates couldn’t fail to capitalise.

Tororo Crest has been the name on everyone’s lips after the sensational performance they managed to put up. They butchered, cooked and served the Buffaloes and Rams on a Silver platter while the Heathens narrowly survived courtesy of a last second try by Malcolm Okello.

The Heathens were 100%, but 2 of the victories were snatched from death’s jaws. The Rams scored a try before the hooter had been sounded but an error of the restart gave an opportunity to the Heathens and they made no mistake, punishing the Rams and condemning them to the Challenge Cup.

The biggest upset came in the ladies game where the She Wolves were very dominant and got the victory against the Thunderbirds.

Emily Lekuru returned after a 6 match ban and started from where she had stopp2d scoring 6 tries in the game against the She Wolves.

Quarter Finals

The Pirates will once again battle with the kobs at the quarter finals 3 times in a row and this is the biggest game the winner will greatly increase their chances of winning the overall tournament.

The Hippos will have to tussle with the Tororo Crest who seem to have come to collect the trophy.

The Heathens meet the Mongers and it will be a very big battle, the Heathens want to make it back to back whereas the Mongers want to get to yet another final.
