The NBL playoffs have already seen 2 teams book their spots into the semi finals.

City Oilers were the first they swept Kampala Rockets and the KIU Rangers emulated the same on Wednesday after they dominated game 2 and put the Miracle Ravens to bed.

Mary Amaniyo had a game of her life recording 20 points, 20 rebounds and 2 assists.

Big contributions from Ines Kanyamuneza with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals while Sharon Kirabo posted 15 points and 7 rebounds.

The KIU Rangers shall play either JT Lady Jaguars or the Magic Stormers who will tussle out for the semi final spot in Game 3 on Saturday.

Ndejje Angels picked up a very big win against Our Savior to tie the series and force game 3.

The Angels having lost game 1 with a 24 point difference, they went back to the drawing board and had to figure out how to come back in the series without the services of their dangerous duo Samuel Ajak and Gatwang Thuok.

Things didn’t start well for them as they trailed by 9 points at the end of the first quarter.

They however turned the game around in the second starting off with a 9:0 run to tie the game.

They an even better third quarter and they took a 10 point lead going into the final quarter.

The Angels kept piling the pressure and extended their lead to 21 points with 6:30 left. Despite efforts to come back in the final 4 minutes, enough damage had already been done by the Angels.

James Obrack stepped up when it mattered the most and he dropped 17 for the Angels.

Joseph Kumbai dropped 9 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and was named Player of the Game.

Malual Dier dropped a game high 25 points for Our Savior.

The 2 teams shall play game 3 on Sunday to determine who goes through to the semi finals and face either KIU Titans or KCCA Panthers.
