The JT Jaguars completed their weekend double with a commanding victory against Kampala University Eagles.
The Black Jaguars carried on with Saturday’s momentum in the first half applying so much pressure and forcing 4 fouls in less than a minute into the game.

They closed the 1st quarter with a 9:0 run and established a 10 point lead.
K.U was improved in the second quarter but they still couldn’t contain the flying Jaguars.
The Jaguars showcased their shooting prowess in the third and It was the Kevin Moru who stood out as he buried 3 from down town.
Were Mark and Kabangu Clement were also very clinical scoring 7 and 5 each.
With a 31 point lead to start the fourth, it was a matter of closing out the game but the boys never lifted the foot off the gas pedal. Their aggression on defense kept the Eagles at bay and forcing them into rushed decisions.

The Jaguars were clinical with 32/63, 50% FG, 10/19, 52% 3P, 22/44 2P.
The rebounding was also great with 41 compared to 26 for K.U

The JT Jaguars continued to stand firm in the top position.

In a post game interview, Kevin Moru commented about his 3 point shooting. “The catch and shoot is hard, but once you get used, the muscle memory it becomes easy”
