The KIU Titans and JKL Lady Dolphins have 1 foot into the 2023 NBL finals after going 2 up into their respective series.

KIU Titans once again dominating game 2 despite trailing after the first quarter.

A second quarter where KIU Titans shot quite well saw them take the lead but the Canons came back in the third to tie the game.

It was a massacre in the final quarter as the KIU Titans obliterated the Canons and limiting them to just 6 points.

Denis Balungu (15) and Joseph Chuma (13) all made 3, 3-point shots while Peter Obleng scored 14 points.

Kevin Kasobya (12) also buried 3, 3-point shots while Lwabaga Ibanda (14) and Abraham Isyagi (13) were also in double digits.

Things weren’t any different for the UCU Lady Canons who hoped to tie the series but the JKL Lady Dolphins outclassed them.

The Lady Canons played so much better with the 3-point shots falling for them and each team scored 25.

Turnovers and missed shots were once again a hiccup for the Lady Canons and the Dolphins punished them increasing their lead to 15 and it was surely done and dusted.

The Lady Dolphins had 14 steals compared to 5 for UCU.

KIU Rangers took game 1 ahead of JT Ladt Jaguars but it was Mary Amaniyo who was the star performer continuing to show off her skills and efficiency.

She dropped 26 points and 16 rebounds and averages she’s arguably the best player in the playoffs so far averaging 20+ points and 15+ rebounds.

Jaguars weren’t taking care of the ball and registered 25 turnovers, and an underwhelming 20% FG.

City Oilers took game 1 against Our Savior who tasted the lead in the first quarter.

The Oilers took the game by storm in the second and third eventually gaining a 21 point lead.

Our Savior seemed to get a spark in the fourth quarter but the time was a little too late.

The league returns this Wednesday with JT Lady Jaguars vs KIU Rangers and Our Savior vs City Oilers for game 2.

The Lady Jaguars and Our Savior look to tie the series and it will be crucial games for both teams.
