Match day 2 of the FUFA Women’s Super League was yet another exciting one and the most anticipated games lived up to their expectations.

Makerere University Ladies hosted Kampala Queens in what was the main game of the week. Fazila Ikwaput’s brace gave the reigning champions a 2 goal lead.

The She Mak however did not lose heart and soon got a break through of their own through the Captain Josephine Ndagire who tucked it home 6 yards.

They then got a 90′ minute Penalty after a handball in the box and Twesigye Jemimah coolly sent the Goalkeeper the wrong way and leveled the game.

The other big game of the weekend was between Kawempe Muslim Ladies and UCU Lady Cardinals where the former scored a lone gone through Mary Kabaculezi in the 69th minute.

Uganda Martyrs LWFC responded swiftly after that late loss against Kampala Queens in game week 1.

They thumped Riness WFC 3 to nothing, 2 goals in the first half and the last in the 50th minute.

Lady Doves thrashed Asubo Gafford Ladies from their own home. Margret Namande opened the scoring in the 6th minute and Resty Kobusobozi added the second in the 30th.

Two more goals in the second half sealed a perfect day in office for the Lady Doves.

She Maroons after their perfect opener were held to a one all draw against Wakiso Hill with both team’s goals coming in the second half.
