Second seed, Nkumba Marines rejuvenated themselves after defeating Falcons in game 2 and game 3 to advance to the semifinals of the 2023 FUBA division 1.
Nkumba Marines lost game one and needed to win both game 2 and game 3 and they managed to get the job done.

The Marines started the game with so much ferocity taking the first quarter 21:9 and getting a 12 point lead.
The Falcons came back stronger in the second quarter taking it 13:18 and cutting the deficit to just 7 points.
The momentum carried forward in the third quarter and they eventually took the lead as the quarter was winding down.
The Marines recollected in the fourth quarter and once again blew out the Falcons.
Chuol Dut Abraham scored 13 points in the fourth, while Arop Mahol and Highman Ssemakula added 7 each in the final quarter.

Livingstone also advanced to the semi finals after completing a sweep against the Tropical Royals.
The Nkumba Marines will face Livingstone in the Semifinals and this game will be a thriller as a place in the NBL is on the line.

Livingstone, who were the top seed in the 2022 season where left broken after Rezlife Saints defeated them in game 3 of the semifinals last year. They will now seek to make a correction and advance to the NBL for their very first time.
