Livingstone had all the momentum in the final minute and despite them being on the trailing end, for a moment they looked like they could takeover, tie the game and force overtime or possibly win it all.

However, the deep 3 point shot by Yesman with less than a minute left was the final straw that broke their backs and from there onwards, it was going to be very difficult to comeback.

With 51 seconds left, Livingstone trailed by 5 points and needed to make atleast 1 defensive stop and score on their 2 possessions.

Both teams came into the game with much more preparation since the game, originally scheduled for Sunday had been postponed to Monday.

The teams also knew that whoever took game 3 would have a very big advantage heading into game 4 and so each team was out for blood.

The Jaguars were so wasteful in the first quarter, they made 5 turnovers and committed 8 fouls. As a result, Livingstone went to the Charity strip 10 times though they didn’t capitalise.

The Jaguars cleaned up in the second quarter and took the game by storm. Different players were getting rest and made huge impacts when brought back on. The Jaguars also went to the Free throw line 8 times, and they managed to take a 7 point lead at the half time break.

Livingstone came within 1 with 6:16 left in the third but the situation turned for the worst. The Jaguars made a 17:0 run in the next 4 minutes and took an 18 point lead. Livingstone sliced through the deficit and made it a 13 point game heading into the final quarter.

Stone City made it a 1 point game after 6 minutes and they had all the momentum. Benjamin Shango made 2 back to back lay ups and the lead was back to 6.

Bismarck Okot gave Livingstone hope after hitting a huge 3 pointer to make it a 3 point game. Benjamin Shango however made another bucket and the game was back to 5 with 90 seconds left.

The tension went up, after Joshua Namutegere buried a shot from deep to make it a 2 point game with 1 minute left.

The most important play happened straight from the Timeout and Yesman had his moment, after that beautiful finish from downtown.

The JT Jaguars now have a 2:1 lead and, as game 4 approaches, they know they have just 1 job, to finish off the Stone City side.

Livingstone had a very long team talk, over an hour after game 3 and this is an indication that they are united heading into game 4.
