The U17 Girls managed to secure Bronze after blowing out Algeria in the FIBA 3×3 Africa Cup.
The one day tourney was played on 30th November in Cairo, Egypt and it saw the hosts manage to keep the title at home.

The girls opened with loss against Morocco but came back reinvigorated in game 2, blowing Benin 21:7 to book a semi final place.

They faced the hosts, Egypt in the semifinals but despite it being a very tight contest, the Egyptians managed to come out on top and were the eventual winners.

In their final game, they faced Algeria and managed to get the job done despite a rocky start.
Mia Belinda was the tournaments top scorer with 25 points, scoring 8 each in wins against Benin and Algeria. She was also named in the team of the tournament.
