For the second game running, Tembo Kasereka and Edgar Munaba have put up incredible performances but this time round, they managed to help the KIU Titans register their first victory of the season against the UCU Canons in spectacular fashion.
The Titans completely dominated the UCU Canons from the get go and at no point did the Canons look like serious threat to the Kasanga based side.
After taking a 10 point deficit at the end of the first quarter, the UCU Canons had a big task on their hand to try and stop the momentum of the Titans but things did not go according to plan as things just turned for the worst, scoring just 9 points in the quarter making the lead bulge to 17 points.
KIU turned up the heat even more in the third quarter, contributions from all over the floor, Stanley Mugerwa, Tembo, Mpiya Juf and Denis Omara making 5 points off the bench making it a 26 point game.
The Canons made a mini run to start the fourth quarter, making it a 19 point game but the Titans leveled up quick making 6 unanswered points and finishing off the game.
Edgar Munaba finished off the game with the final 5 points of the game, sending him over the 20 point mark.

Talking points
KIU Titans efficiency from the field was superb. They shot 50% FG, the highest so far in the league. The key to this was the quick passing of the ball. KIU Titans passed up good shots for better shots, and it was seen from the number of assists they got (26).
The Achilles heel for the UCU side was the turnovers, and just like the ladies in the opening game, the UCU Canons got punished with a whooping 29 points from Turnovers for the KIU Titans compared to just 10 for UCU.
The KIU Titans shot extremely well from the perimeter scoring 11 3-point shots while the Canons made just 5. The Titans quick passing of the ball helped to catch the defense lurking and as a result, the Titans got man open shots which they managed to make.
Ahmed Kassa was on fire in the first half, making all his 3 3-point shots of the game in that time.

Edgar Munaba also made his mark from deep in the second half scoring 3 3-point shots while Kasereka Tembo, who had been ecstatic the whole night exhibited his Marksmanship with 4 shot from behind the arc.
