In a thrilling valentine’s day showdown, the JKL Lady dolphins secured their fourth win of the season with an impressive performance against the magic Stomer’s. The team capitalized on the magic Stomer’s turnovers that were made all through the game.

Ekone Brenda punished the Magic Stormers on the fast breaks. Every time the Stormers made a turnover, a long pass was made to Ekone and she made no mistake.  

Despite the magic stomers efforts, including Doreen Nakibuka’s spirited play against the experienced Imanishibwe Ritah, Doreen trying to mark her down in the one-on-one contest in the game as she is still new to the league and quite young plus inexperienced, they struggled a lot to finish their midrange shots and non of the three points in the game were made.

Kur Ajar put in an A’ja Wilson type of performance, painting the whole stat board and giving the fans something to cheer on.

When asked about what inspired her incredible performance, she credited her teammates.

“My teammates, the previous game they were telling me that i need to push hard, i need to come back to my game and i didn’t want to disappoint them, i said I’d do it for them”

“Though we lost, i really loved our performance. We only lost because of the breakers (fast breaks), but for defense inside, all my teammates played very good defense” she also commented on their general performance in the game.
