The KCCA Leopards are 4 time champions with their last title coming 2024, a decade ago. They made some serious upgrades during the off-seaeon, acquiring the services of All Stars, Perus Nyamwenge and Uwineza Ninette from the KIU Rangers and Margaret Bagaala from Kampala University. The team has looked razor sharp  so far and they will be looking to keep their run going.

The KIU Rangers have been knocking on the championship door for a long while and last season they made their first finals appearance. Despite losing some of their top stars to the Leopards, the Rangers retained most of the team and also added a few pieces who could help them in their attempt to secure a first title.

Perus Nyamwenge vs Ines Kanyamuneza

During 2023 season, this was one of the most dangerous duos but have since split and have to lead their sides to glory.

Perus Nyamwenge has had a spectacular start to the season with an average 18 points and 4.3 steals.

Ines tops the charts in Field Goal and 3-point percentages with 53.3% and 47.1% respectively.  She has scored 4 3-point shots in each of her last 2 games and averages 20 points.

The two are offensive powerhouses and both their teams shall be expecting a lot of contributions on the offensive end and that efficiency will come in handy.

Mary Amaniyo vs KCCA Bigs

Mary Amaniyo has been tearing defenses down dropping double double in 2 of 3 games and averaging 18 points and 14.3 rebounds.

She will be against seasoned players Martha Soigi, Susan Aanyu, Asinah Kabendela and Falidah Kadondi in alternation. The Leopards have some of the biggest players and can Amaniyo take them on alone?

Amaniyo has the ability to adjust her game and this was evident during the 2023 playoffs. When the paint gets clogged up, she can try to space herself and get off shots from the midrange and beyond the arc.

Sharon Kirabo also has a big game ahead as she is expected to be the second option to have powerful drive to the KCCA Leopards rim.

Fildauce Namulema vs Sylvester Kazibwe

Fildauce has elevated her game to start the season and her vision has been like no other.

She averages 6 assists and 3.7 steals per game. The energy she also brings to the KIU Rangers is high and it helps boost the team morale.

Sylvester Kazibwe hasn’t put up as many numbers in the league but her defense has been outstanding as she forces turnovers at from the top.
