Division One cricket will feature one encounter of Kutchi Tigers entertaining Ceylon Lions at Lugogo in the 50- over format.

Both teams won their first league games of the season against Patidar CC and Tornado Bees CC respectively.

Ceylon CC’s new signing Siraje Nsubuga who bagged a man of match performance with his bowling effort of figures 6/45 in 9 overs will be one to watch out for.

Division One cricket is in a view of finding a new champion after a long spell of dominance of Aziz Damani CC who opted out in this year’s cricketing activities and clearly Sunday’s tier could be vital for any club who could walk with the two points at the end of the day’s cricket.

Tornado Cricket Club will square off with Kings’ College Buddo Cricket Club at the Buddo Cricket Ground on Sunday with T-20 double headers.

Tornado CC yet to play a game this season will begin their quest for promotion to Division One cricket following their failure the previous season where they were third behind league winners Tornado Bees and Aziz Damani Ismaili Community Team.

On the other hand, KC Buddo will be playing their third match day and still winless in their last four games. A much-improved performance was noted against the table leaders Soroti City CC in their last game.

Tornado CC will have to feature some new faces on Sunday after they lost two U-19 players, in-form batsman Gerald Olipa and uprising fast bowler Musa Majid to Division One side Tornado Bees.
