The JKL Lady Dolphins made it 6 consecutive victories against the UCU Lady Canons since that  game 7 loss in the 2022 NBL finals after defeating them 75:68 in round 1 of the 2024 NBL.

The Lady Dolphins took control from the get go, taking a 3 point lead after the first period.

They continued to exert their dominance in the second quarter scoring 20 while the Lady Canons points dried up a little, with only 8 points.

The Lady Dolphins took a 15 point lead heading into half time and there onwards, the Lady Canons were playing catch up.

The Lady Canons outscored the Lady Dolphins in each of the final 2 quarters but the earlier cushion was just enough for the JKL Lady Dolphins to see out the victory.

Hope Akello was unplayable for the entirety of the game. She led scoring (23 points) on 6/10, 60% FG, rebounds (15) and was second in assists with 5. 

Becky Longom also contributed massively especially in rebounding and she registered another double double.
