The Game week started on Wednesday at the YMCA with the KCCA Leopards taking on the UPDF Lady Tomahawks. It was thorough dominance from the get-go and the KCCA made it wins in a row.

KCCA had 4 players in double digits with Falidah Kadondi scoring 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, steals, and blocks. UPDF had 3 players in double digits, Christine Namyalo kept her streak of double digits, and Captain Patience Nantume scored double digits (15) for the first time in the season.

UPDF played their second game on Saturday and despite fighting hard, the First and fourth-quarter scores were low and Magic capitalized.  Christine Namyalo (13) and Stella Marris (16) continued their wonderful season offensively both dropping 1 double digits. Sisters Auma Angela (12) and Daphne Adong (13) both scored double digits for Magic.

D-Mark Power had all their 5 starters in double digits as they went past the Kampala Rockets. Francis Kasinde had a superb performance with a game-high 23 points and 13 rebounds. Elvis Mutebi had 18 points on 50% FG while Samad Imran scored 12 and collected 16 rebounds.

The JKL Lady Dolphins made it 6 wins in a row against the UCU Lady Canons since the 2022 Game 7 Finals. Hope Akello was a force with 23 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Becky Longom complimented her exceptionally with 10 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists. Shakirah Nanvubya was the main offensive weapon for UCU with 13 points, 8 rebounds, game-high 7 assists, and 2 steals. Bridget Aber registered yet another double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lady Dolphins made a statement victory after putting 108 past Kampala University. They now have the highest points difference this season (73) after surpassing KCCA Leopards (67). Brenda Ekone scored 36 points, her second 30+ game of the season.

Kampala University’s Gloria Ayaa recorded her second double-double of the season (10 points, 11 rebounds).

The Namuwongo Blazers handed the City Oilers their first loss of the season in a low-scoring affair on Friday. Joseph Chuma was the man of the hour with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Peter Cheng was on fire in the final quarter and he finished the game with 12 points, 10 rebounds double double off the bench.

The Blazers carried the momentum to their game against Livingstone and the latter was no match for the 2022 Finalists. Elly Okello was the start of the game with a game-high 16 points on 8/11, 72% FG plus 7 rebounds, and 4 steals.

A1 Challenge recorded their second victory of the season after overwhelming Kampala University in the second half. Sharua Nakirya scored a game-high 20 points while Esther Maron missed out on a double-double by 1 rebound. Hanifah Namuli scored 14 points for K.U. and she played all 40 minutes.

A1 Challenge took on KIU Rangers in their second game of the game week and the Rangers were more dominant in the second half.  Sharua Nakirya had another wonderful performance scoring a team-high 16 points.  Mary Amaniyo registered another double-double of the season, 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Arthur Wanyoto (13 points, 20 rebounds) led the JKL Dolphins to victory against Ndejje Angels. Despite applying pressure in the third quarter, the Angels ran out of steam and were outscored by 10 in the fourth. Haron Alinaitwe led and scored 18 points.

KIU Titans returned to winning ways after putting Our Savior to the sword. Joel Lukoji was the star performer for KIU with 19 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Joseph Teko led the scoring with 20 points, his highest of the season.

KCCA Panthers outscored UCU canons by 17 points in the final quarter to complete a comeback and win 69:65. Caesar Kizito led the charges for the Panthers with 17 points and 4 players in double digits. Abraham Isyagi led the scoring with 18 points on 71% FG.

UCU turned in better against Our Savior scoring 24 points compared to 6 in the final quarter. Peter Sifuma was in game mode dropping 18 points and 21 rebounds. Joseph Teko scored a team-high 11 for Our Savior.

The JT Lady Jaguars outclassed the Miracle Ravens with an easy victory. Annet Among scored her season high 16 points while Mercy Batamuliza collected 14 rebounds in 22 minutes. Priscilla Nambogo (10) scored double digits for the first time this season.
