Peter Cheng put up an incredible individual performance as Nam Blazers washed the JKL Dolphins at ABJA Parks on Saturday and he makes the team for the first time this season. He scored a game-week-high 23 points on 50% FG and added 14 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks.

His teammate Daniel Gaaki went off for 13 points and a game week-high 8 assists. He was effortless in his passing ability and he controlled the Namuwungo Blazers offense calmly while on the floor.

Tonny Drileba was 100% FG in the two games during the game week. He scored 6 consecutive 3-point shots, the first person to do it this season. He scored 16 points against KCCA and added 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Against Kampala Rockets, he played 18 minutes, registering 6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.

Edrine Walujjo made a huge make off the bench and for the first time this season, he registered a double-double in consecutive games. He had 11 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal against KCCA Panthers in 18 minutes and when he started against Kampala Rockets, he recorded 17 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

Samad Imran continued doing his thing despite Power losing against the KCCA Leopards. He registered 14 points, a game week-high 18 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.

Miracle Ravens trio, Lilian Cherotich, Brenda Alyano, and Akello Winnifred were all very solid and instrumental as their team recorded huge victories, against juggernauts KCCA Leopards who had been unbeaten, and Kampala University.

Brenda scored 18 against KCCA Leopards, including very crucial 5 3-point shots that made sure they won the game. She added 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. She scored a game-week-high 26 points against Kampala University, adding 2 rebounds and 1 steal.

Akello Winnifred scored 24 against KCCA which is the most the Leopards have conceded from an individual. She added 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal. She dropped 13 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal, and 2 blocks against Kampala University.

 Lilian Cheotich registered back-to-back double-doubles averaging 11.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and an impressive combined 10 blocks. She reached 40 blocks on the season, the next in line has 12.

Mercy Batamuliza is the queen of rebounding and in the absence of Sarah Ageno, played more minutes and never disappointed. She picked a total of 30 rebounds in the 2 games and she added 18 points, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.

When all was going wrong for the KCCA Leopards against Miracle Ravens, Sylvester Kazibwe was the most important player for them and controlled their entire offense. She scored 10 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. She handed out many ‘almost’ assists, but the finishers weren’t very sharp. She scored 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals against the Magic Stormers.
