The City Oilers were going to be the first men’s team to score 100+ points this season, but a missed free throw and failed buzzer-beater left them at just 99 points.
From the onset, it looked like it was going to be a long evening for Livingstone. They looked confused and were very reckless in the first quarter. They registered 7 turnovers and of the 27 points of the Oilers, 14 were points from turnovers.

The Oilers continued their rhythm in the second period and Livingstone couldn’t keep up. The City Oilers bench contributed heavily with 34 points of the 54. Fayed Baale had 15 points off the bench to close the first half.
Livingstone just couldn’t keep up and when the final quarter ended, City Oilers with 81 points, everyone was bracing themselves for 100 points.

As the time was expiring, the ball was passed to Benjamin Kawumi who got a clean look but Amara Ariho did a good job, closing in and making it tough for Benjamin. Benjamin also tried to sell the foul to the umpire who did not buy.
