KHC Originals showcased their exceptional form and skill in the recent Uganda National Hockey League game against Makerere, securing a convincing 2-0 win. Goals from Stanley Tamale and Albert Kimumwe in the 5th and 52nd minute, respectively, highlighted their remarkable performance on the Lugogo turf.

Having only garnered 7 points in the entire previous season, the Originals’ impressive start to this season sees them now with 6 points from 4 games, demonstrating an impressive improvement in their gameplay. Makerere, on the other hand, suffered their 3rd loss of the season, leaving them in 9th position out of 10 in the league standings.

Stanley Tamale of KHC Originals scored in the 5th minute from a penalty corner.

Despite their challenging start, Makerere’s captain, Timothy, remains optimistic about their future prospects, believing that with adjustments and dedication, they can turn things around in the league. With plenty of games ahead, there is still an opportunity for Makerere to rectify their performance and climb up the table.
