Paul Odong came alive in the second half making a couple of huge shots to help his team, Namuwongo Blazers start the second round with a 65-75 win against Livingstone.
The Namuwongo Blazers came into the game on the back of 2 losses to close the first round and it was very important for them to get off to a winning start to start round 2.
The Blazers led by 3 after the first quarter, but their offense was quiet in the second quarter and Livingstone took a 30:29 lead at the break.
A strong third quarter helped Namuwongo get a 10-point cushion. Peter Cheng, Paul Odong and Joseph Chuma combined for 20 of the team’s 22 in the third. They also got a couple of defensive stops, 4 steals and 2 blocks in that period.

Livingstone made 4/6 3-point shots and suddenly, it was a 1-point game with 4:12 left. Paul Odong magic happened, he buried back to back 3-point shots and the Namuwongo Blazers made a 15:6 run to finish off the game.
Paul Odong was the main ingredient in the second half, he had 15 points, 4 steals and 2 assists in that time.
