It is dark times in the Ndejje Angels camp and the nightmare is not about to stop as tougher games lie ahead.
The KIU Titans might have put the final nail in the coffin of the Ndejje Angels, condemning them to relegation from the National Basketball League to Division One.
The Ndejje Angels sit rock bottom of the NBL with 3 wins in 18 games.
Coming into the game week 17 opener against KIU Titans, they were the only team without a win in the second round and given their situation, they needed to do everything possible to try and get a result.

However, things did not go as planned as the KIU Titans, who had scored 91 and registered 30 assists (the highest in a game this season) against Power in their previous game came out guns blazing.
It was a blowout first quarter, 8-24, Edgar Munaba setting the tone with 12 points, 4 out of 6 from 3-point range.
The second quarter was no different as the KIU Titans continued to apply the pressure and they managed to hit the 50-point mark at halftime.
The Ndejje Angels scored only 18 points in the first half, their lowest in any half this season.
The Titans had no mercy as they continued to inflict more damage in the the third quarter. They scored 31 points on 12/20, 60% from the field. They scored 5 3-point shots in the quarter, Kasereka Tembo sinking 3 of those.
The Ndejje Angels had multiple spells without scoring but their offense came alive in the fourth quarter.
Cikom Monybai started scoring his shots, but it was a little too late as the KIU Titans had developed a gargantuan lead.
Monybai scored 11 points in the final quarter while Harod Alinaitwe (2) and Bolton Rujumba (1) scored from 3-point range.
Talking points
With just 3 wins in 18 game, the Ndejje Angels are in trouble and they need a miracle.
The aura they exhibited today showed a team that has given up and it will be very difficult to see them survive relegation.
They face UCU Canons, Power, City Oilers and KCCA Panthers in their final 4 games and for them to stand a chance at survival, they need to win atleast 3 of the four games.
