KHC delivered a solid performance, defeating Makerere 4-1 to maintain their third position on the men’s league table with 12 points and a game in hand.
This victory keeps them in close contention with the log leaders. Weatherhead, currently in first place with 16 points, benefited from a 5-0 walkover against City Lions.
Meanwhile, SC Wananchi hold the second position with 13 points, following a resounding 8-0 victory over Originals in the early kickoff on Saturday.

The women’s league on the other end featured an intense encounter between KHC Swans and Wananchi, ending in a 2-2 draw. Wananchi struck first with a goal by Doreen Asiimwe in the 10th minute, but Swans equalized through Carol Aguti in the 20th minute. Asiimwe scored again for Wananchi in the 23rd minute, but Swans’ Sandra Namusoke leveled the score once more in the 36th minute.
