The Our Savior Banyabo started from where they stopped as they registered back-to back victories against Makerere Sparks on Saturday and Buddo Mystiques on Sunday.

It was early dominance to start the game against Makerere that was the difference. They outscored Makerere 18:3 after the first quarter and they never relinquished their lead.

The Buddo Mystiques put a lot of opposition but Our Savior had their way in the third quarter, outscoring them 21-11 and extending making it an 18-point game.

Purity Lamara was the star for the Banyabo against Makerere Sparks as she led in scoring and rebounding. She had a double-double against Makerere Sparks, 13 points, and 11 rebounds. She had 5 rebounds, 4 blocks and 4 points in 17 minutes against Buddo Mystiques.

Patricia Namugambe led her team in scores and steals with a team-high 10 points and 2 steals and a game-high 9 rebounds, 5 assists as the Banyabo took on Buddo. 

The Banyabo have now played 7 games winning 5 and losing 2. They have a 4 game winning streak and they hope to maintain it in their remaining 3 games of the first round.

Our Savior Banyabo returns to action on  Sunday 2nd June as they take on Kibuli S.S
