Our Savior Banyabo are now top of the FUBA Division one women’s standings after defeating Kibuli S.S to make 5 wins in a row and 6 in 8 games.

The Banyabo trailed 18:15 after the first quarter, but they arose in the second, destroying Kibuli 22:6 and taking a 13-point lead into the halftime break.

U18 youngster Shiphrah Kiranda who had scored 8 of Kibuli’s 18 points in the first half was taken out of the game in the second quarter and she did not make a single point in that time.

Kibuli’s offense dwindled even more in the third quarter with just 4 points to their name and Our savior made it a 19-point game heading into the fourth quarter.

The teams exchanged a couple of baskets in the final quarter but it was the Banyabo who had gained the early advantage and they won 54:41.

Our Savior Banyabo have 2 remaining games in the first round, they will face the Amazon Rhinos and Seeta High School. Given their current momentum, they could be finishing in the top 3 after the first round.
