The Uganda U18 Boys were in full force as they took on Tanzania in their opener of the FIBA U18 African Championship Zone V Qualifiers.
The boys did not waste time and after the first quarter, they led the game 16:30.
By halftime it was a 22-point game and in the second half, their defense went a notch higher, limiting Tanzania to just 20 points while they scored 51.

Talking points
The ball distribution was good on team Uganda and it is no wonder they had 19 assists.
Tanzania’s Stanley Mtunguja was spectacular in multiple facets of the game, but he couldn’t carry the team on his back alone.
