The question on everyone’s mind is, how can a team that was so good become so horrible in a short spell.
The KCCA Leopards lost yet another game against a ‘big side’ and this time around, the KIU Rangers were the ones delivering the beating.
The Leopards were vulnerable from the tip-off and after the first quarter, they trailed by 11 points.
They steadied the ship a bit in the second quarter and it was an 8-point KIU Rangers lead at halftime.
With the scores relatively close, many thought the Leopards could make a run in the third quarter but the situation went from bad, worse then worst very quickly.
The Leopards offense couldn’t fire anymore as they scored just 9 points while the Rangers were just getting started.
The Kansanga side made 4 3-point shots and multiple quick transition points to make it a 23-point games heading into the final period.
Despite attempts to make a run, the KIU Rangers fizzled out any form of hope for the KCCA Leopards and the game finished 78:56.
