The UCU Lady Canons and the Magic Stormers shall be clashing in Game 2 of the NBL  Quarter-finals on Tuesday 30th and this game also promises to be dramatic.

The UCU Lady Canons have just won the 6th Afro-Varsity 3×3 Basketball Championship which was held at Makerere and will be out to get the job done tonight, completing the sweep against the Magic Stormers.

When the 2 sides met in game one, the Lady Canons won by just 2 points, and with less than 2:30 left, the game had been tied. That shows how tight the margins were in that game and that it could have gone either way.

In the last 2 meetings, the Magic Stormers have outscored the Lady Canons 34:17 in the third quarter and if they can get the number higher in this game, maybe they will have had enough points to get them over the line.

For the Lady Canons, they haven’t been able to blow out teams but they have found ways to win games. They will be looking to do the same in today’s game, and given that they have all hands on deck, the work for each person will be cut out.
