The 12 players who will be representing Uganda at the upcoming 3×3 Youth Nations League have been named by Coach Albert Aciko.
After training for over one month, the technical team zeroed down to the final 12 players, 6 for the men and the same number for the women.

Joel Kayiira, Obleng, Okurut and Lubwama were the four players who represented Uganda at the All Africa Games in Accra where they finished third and bagged Bronze.

Fayed Baale is one of the most experienced U23 players and he is also part of the senior 3×3 National Team.
Michael Makumbi is the least experienced and he will be looking to impress.
For the Ladies, the quartet of Babirye, Lamunu, Amaniyo, and Longom is part of the Gazelles contingent that traveled to Germany for the tour.

The trio of Lamunu, Amaniyo and Longom also represented Uganda at the All-Africa Games where they won 1 of 3 games.
Akello Winnifred has been a champion in this format during her high school days.
After making her mark at the 2023 Women’s Afrobasket in Rwanda, Lydia Babirye will be looking to leave her mark once again but in the 3×3 format.
Darlene Tashobya who is one of the biggest prospects will also seize the moment to show how much she she developed during her time in the US.
Uganda shall be hosting the games at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds and they shall be running for 6 days, from 5th August to 11th August.
The overall winners shall qualify for the U23 World Cup and with the U18 Boys and Girls having already qualified for theirs, the pressure shall be heavy on the athletes to win.
