With the FIBA 3×3 Youth Nations League coming to an end, we take a look back at some of the top performers throughout the tournament.
In the ladies category, Uganda emerged the Champions after winning 4 of the 6 stops.
Benin finished in second place with 2 stops won while Algeria came in third.
Algeria was very dominant in the ladies category and they booked their tickets to the World Cup.
Benin came in second place while Uganda finished in third.
MVPs
Uganda’s Lydia Babirye was named the MVP for the ladies after putting up stellar performances in her 3×3 debut.
She was the most important player for Uganda. Despite not playing in stop 6, her earlier performances had been very key in Uganda’s success.
She played 12 games and scored 71 points, the third-highest in the tournament.
Zayd Yahiaoui was the most electrifying and lethal player at the tournament. She was very dangerous whilw attacking thr basket and when left open, he made it rain from the 2-point range.
He took the MVP trophy home. He was by far the top scorer with 113 points. This was 23 more points than the second person.
