The 2024 team of the NBL season was announced during the awarding ceremony and here are some of the interesting statistics and facts.

Titus Lual who helped his team City Oilers to win their 10th championship was named MVP and he had a fairly consistent performance throughout the season.

He averaged 11.3 points, 9.2 assists, 2 assists, 1.5 steals, 2.2 blocks and led the league in blocks with 62.

During the finals, he registered a double-double in 3 of the 4 games, averaging 9.8 points, 16.3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 3.75 blocks.

Joel Lukoji Banza was the main man for the the KIU Titans leading the team offensively and defensively. He led the league is assists and steals with 181 (almost double the second person) and 78 respectively.

He averaged 10.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 2.7 steals and 51.4 % FG.

Kasereka Pierre Tembo was one of the most lethal shooters and runners in the league. He led the league in 3-point shots scored with 64 and helped his team make a run to the finals.

He averaged 12 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 steals, 52.4% 2P  for the season.

Peter Cheng led the league in scoring with 415 points, the only players to score 400+.

Cheng was very instrumental for the Namuwongo Blazers and he put up a phenomenal performance in game 4 against KIU Titans when they faced elimination, with 23 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steals with 5 3-point shots made.

He averaged 14.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.9 blocks for the whole season.

Puati Ozias Kikomba was the front runner for MVP based on individual statistics but the results did not put him in that conversation.

He picked the highest rebounds with 318 and his rim protection helped the Kampala Rockets immensely.

He was one of thr few players to average a double-double with 13 points, 13.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.1 steals, 2 blocks.
