After defeat to already relegated Old Tymers, Miracle Eagles returned to winning ways after thumping Watoto 68:37 on Wednesday, 23rd, at YMCA.
Both teams came into the game in search of big victories to increase their chances of making the playoffs and it was always going to be a tough game.
However, Miracle Eagles started well, dominated the first quarter and led the game 16-5.
Watoto struggled offensively as they only scored 2 Field Goals out of the 17 attempts.
It is also important to note that Watoto had more 3-point shot attempts (10) than 2-point shot attempts, and this is due to the defense that Miracle was playing against them, which forced them to attempt from a distance.
It was a much better performance from Watoto in the second quarter but the Eagles still held the advantage.
Both teams had mini runs but the most crucial was the 5-0 run in the final 90 seconds that gave the Eagles a 14-point lead heading into halftime.

Watoto’s offense went into slumber mode once again and they scored just 2 field goals in the third quarter.
Miracle Eagles capitalized on this greatly to put a 20-point separation between them and Watoto ahead of the final period.
The same problems that were affecting Watoto continued in the fourth quarter and Miracle Eagles continued capitalizing on that and they won the game 68-37.
