Following their recent results, Watoto and Diamonds in the Sun face relegation, and when is all said and done, one of them will be heading to Division Two.
Watoto secured a 1-point victory against Entebbe Knight Riders, and they also defeated Falcons, 58-53, a game that put them in a very good position.
On Sunday the 10th, everyone thought they’d get a positive result but they were stunned by Entebbe Archers (74-61) and this loss left their survival hopes hanging in balance.
Watoto now has a 12-16 record and they face Rezlife Saints (13th Nov) and Sommet (17th Nov) in their final games of the season.
Diamonds in the Sun has performed very poorly in the second round so far, with a 4-8 record, and their current season record is 10-17.
Diamonds have lost their last 4 outings but they did themselves a favor by defeating Watoto to own the tiebreaker.
They take on Gulu Hawks (17th Nov), Miracle Eagles (16th Nov) and Tropical Royals (20th Nov).

Permutations
If Watoto wins both their games, they will finish 10th, they will have 14 wins while Diamonds can only reach 13 wins if they win all their last 3 games.
If Watoto wins one more game, they will have 13 wins, and the Diamonds will need to win all their 3 games to tie them in wins but survive relegation since they own the tiebreaker.
If Watoto loses all their remaining 2 games, Diamonds need to win atleast 2 more games to survive relegation.
As things stand, Diamonds need to first win at least 2 games to have hopes.
However, they play teams that have a lot at stake and also the journey to Gulu will be a difficult one.
As of now, Diamonds is supposed to play on Saturday at 2:00 pm then immediately travel to Gulu for a game that will be played on Sunday 17th at 4:00 pm.
Fatigue and exhaustion could be a big factor in that game and as things stand, Diamonds need a lot of prayers.
