At this moment, it is very difficult to know when the FUBA Division One and Two will start but the more they delay, the more complex the situation becomes.
The playoffs were scheduled to start on Saturday, 23rd November, and go all the way till 17th December as per the previous fixture.
Key dates
Whatever time FUBA resolves its issues with the referees and decides to start the playoffs, a couple of factors will play a hand in new fixture and games could be play till next year.
15th December
The East Africa University games in Maseno University, Kenya, shall be starting with the number of university teams and players in the playoffs; it is something they have to consider.
Makerere University, Victoria University, and Nkumba University are all in the playoffs, and there are a lot of players in other teams like Angels, Our Savior, Amazon Rhinos, Sommet, and more who are University students who would want to represent their Universities at the games.

23rd December
This date is key because it is when most people have left the city and gone to be with their families and also tend to business during the festive season.
Likely outcome
If the issues are resolved this year, the playoffs start and FUBA decides to call off games to allow people/institutions to participate in University games, then most likely the league will have some part played next year.
However, if FUBA decides to carry on without considering the University games, then they must try and finish the league latest 23rd December.
If that were to happen, this would be a crush program and the product may not be as good because the games would have to be congested.
Things like player fatigue will then come into play and with that comes a lot of other problems like potential injuries.
Whatever decision is taken, so many factors will have to be considered but as things look, part of the playoffs could be played next year.
It is very uncertain when the games shall start but as of now, the teams are still preparing.
