Lower Leagues postponed to 2025

FUBA has postponed the FUBA Division One and Two playoffs to January 2025 as they buy some time to clear the arrears of officials.

In a letter written on 3rd December, FUBA has postponed the FUBA Division One and Two playoffs to January 2025.

This comes after FUBA referees decided to boycott officiating the playoffs due to unpaid arrears dating from 2023.

The playoffs were scheduled to start on 23rd November but now teams will have to wait till next year to see who will be promoted for the 2025 National Basketball League (NBL).

The Postponement gives FUBA ample time to work things out with the referees but could have a big impact on the 2025 calendar as it is already crowded.

This may also have an impact on when the 2025 National Basketball League regular season could start.

This also affects the teams a lot more so when it comes to planning and preparation for the next season.
