The UG 3×3 Nationwide tour concluded on Saturday 30th at Uganda Christian University in Mukono with the final qualifying stop.

The circuit saw 14 teams turn up, 10 for the Men and 4 for the ladies to compete for the final qualifying places in the grand Finale.

Team Majesties led by U23 Gazelles star Shillah Lamunu who represented at the 2024 3×3 World Cup won the ladies category having defeated team Dragon 12-6 in the Finale.

For the men, Cole World defeated Effort Hoops in what was an electrifying final.

The teams went back and forth, Demasio Bona Bang scoring lots of points for Effort Hoops but Cole World was getting points from everyone.

With a few seconds left, Edgar Munaba made a strong drive to the basket and called game, handing Cole World a 21:19 victory.

On their way the final, Cole World eliminated New Stars in the semifinals but that victory came from very far.

With about 8 seconds left in the game, Solomon Olara made a strong basket and the foul and he gave his side the 1-point lead from the free-throw line.

They went on to win the game 13-12 but the basket by Olara was the difference.

Team Cole World, Effort Hoops and Majesties all made the Grand Finale which will take place on 7th at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds.
