Our Savior Banyabo made a fourth-quarter comeback to defeat Angels 48-46 in game one of the Semi-Finals.

After leading the game 26-21 at halftime, Our Savior Banyabo had a  stinker in the third quarter as they scored just 6 points.

Angels made an 8-0 run to start the third quarter and from there onwards, they stayed ahead till halfway through the fourth quarter.

Our Savior stayed in the game and they kept crawling back till they turned things in their favor.

In the fourth quarter alone, they scored 8 points from turnovers which proved to be very crucial.

Talking points

Free throws were a big problem for both teams with Our Savior scoring 15/26, 57% while Angels made just 10/28, 35%.

Angels missed 7 of their 8 free throws in the fourth quarter and it’s safe to say they lost the game on the line.

In the final 1 minute of the game, Namatovu Joan had for attempts from the line but she only managed to score 1 and those misses proved to be very costly.
