After a very difficult start to the game, Victoria University managed to recover and win the game 56-51 after an impressive fourth-quarter performance.
UMU Flames started the game with a 10-0 run and at halftime, they still led the game 28-21.
To start the third quarter, Victoria University was on fire as they went on 12-3 run to take a 2-point lead less than 3 minutes into the quarter.
In the remainder of the quarter, UMU Flames regained the lead as they outscored Victoria University 16-5.
UMU lead by 11 points to start the fourth quarter but Victoria University went on a 12-0 run to take the lead with less than 4 minutes left in the quarter.
UMU Flames offense was very poor in the final quarter as they scored just 4 points.

Talking points
Foul trouble was a big issue for UMU Flames. They had 26 fouls compared to 14 for Victoria University.
As a result, Victoria capitalized with 12 free throws while UMU scored just 6.
One area of concern for Victoria is the Free throw conversion (12/29), 41%.
They need to work on this very much otherwise it could come back to bite them.
UMU also need other people to step up offensively.
