Rezlife Saints defeated Victoria University 70:57 in game 6 to tie the series 3-3 and force game 7.
The Saints had a dominant first quarter scoring 30 points to Victoria’s 13 and this early lead helped them stay ahead throughout the game.
In the second quarter, their offense dwindled significantly as they scored just 8 points while Victoria had 15 and the momentum appeared to have slightly shifted towards the University side.
To start the third quarter, Joseph Kumbai scored 8 consecutive points for Victoria but their offense went scoreless in the next 4 minutes of the game which affected them significantly.
Gideon Kasasa was the top contributor as he finished with 9 points and 1 assist in about 8 minutes.
Rezlife increased the lead to 19 points halfway through the fourth quarter and Victoria University couldn’t comeback.

Facts
This is the first time in the playoffs that Victoria University has a single player score double digits.
Victoria (67) had 9 more rebounds than Rezlife (58). The also had more offensive rebounds (31) than Rezlife’s 22 but both teams were tied in second chance points.
The 2 teams shall face off in the deciding game 7 on Friday 7th at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
