The Miracle Ravens defeated Nabisunsa 83-64 in their season opener but the final score does not tell the story of the game.

With 7:29 left in the fourth quarter, Nabisunsa led the game 57-54 but what preceeded was a masterclass by the Miracle Ravens.

They worked tirelessly offensively and defensively and as a result, they blew out Nabisunsa in the final 7 minutes of the game.

Miracle scored 29 points in the final 7 minutes of the game including 4 3-point shots.

In the fourth quarter alone, Miracle forced Nabisunsa into 15 turnovers and as a result, they scored 15 points from turnovers.

Brenda took over the game as she scored 22 of the 29 points by Miracle in the fourth quarter.

Nabisunsa was heavily relying on their star players Mpoza Abigail, Joy Auma and Martha Yikiru.

The 3 scored a combined 53 points, 83% of the team’s total.

However, they also combined for 47 field goal attempts which is 72% of the team’s total attempts.

One of the biggest lessons Nabisunsa learned is the fact that they are easily susceptible to making mistakes when the pressure increases.

They need to work on that, most especially the guards, and that way, they will be able to get some wins in the bag.
