Livingstone got their first victory of the season after defeating inexperienced KIU Titans 71-59.

Following two very disappointing losses, Livingstone came into this game with a lot of pressure on them.

They were out to get a result by hook or crook and they were up against a ‘young’ KIU Titans side.

The KIU Titans changed their course of direction after deciding to stick to students.

With their new look, so many people anticipated how the young lads would perform.

Livingstone led the game after the first quarter 21-17.

However, in the second quarter, the Titans put up a fight, took the lead, and were ahead for most of the game.

The floodgates opened in the third quarter and Livingstone got their way.

They outscored the Titans 25-12 to take a 14-point lead and that was enough for them in the end.

KIU Titans’ squad is filled with new players and they never got off to the perfect start.
