The NBL Game Week 2 had some shocking results, JKL Lady Dolphins returned to winning ways while UPDF made it wins in a row.
We take a look at some of the outstanding players who contributed immensely for their teams.
Mariam Namukwaya
Mariam Namukwaya scored huge baskets as Miracle Ravens shocked KCCA Leopards 80-75.
She became the second player to score 30+ points in a game second to her teammate Brenda Alyano.
She finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.
Nasiimu Mutesi
Mutesi was in her element in her first game of the season.
She was all over the floor, working tirelessly, and her hard work was rewarded heavily.
She dropped 20 points, 9/16 FG, 17 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals.
Nasiimu became the first player to register 20+ points and 15+ rebounds in the same game.

Uwineza Ninette
Despite KCCA’s loss to the Miracle Ravens, Uwineza Ninette was one of the standout performers in the game.
She had the highest +/- in the game with +9 and her impact was very visible both offensively and defensively.
She finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals and 2 blocks.
Ruth Nambirige
Ruth Nambirige had her work cut out and she executed efficiently.
She registered a season-high 17 rebounds plus 10 rebounds.
She added 3 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks and was undoubtedly the most productive Stormer on the court.
Hope Akello
Hope Akello returns to the team of the week after a very efficient performance against the Magic Stormers.
She dropped 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals in 24 minutes, and she by far had the highest +/- with 24.
