The second season of the Western Basketball League is set to tip-off on the 5th of April 2025.

Following a successful season one in 2024, the organizers, Beyond Basketball Foundation, returned with the second and they promise to make it bigger and better.

The winner of the inaugural season was Wazeei after defeating Fort Portal Basketball Club in the finals.

This time around, all the teams think they have enough to make a run to the finals amd it will be very interesting to see how the season unfolds.

2 new teams have been added; St Joseph’s Vocation School (JOVOC) and JOVOC Hall of Fame.

These teams will also be looking to shake some tables and make significant runs in the postseason.

During the 2024 season, Kasese Basketball Club dropped out, having not played the required number of games, but the organizers are optimistic that such issues will not happen this year.

The opening weekend shall be Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April at MUST Court.
