The JKL Lady Dolphins defeated Magic Stormers 65-48 to secure their first victory in the 2024 NBL season.

The 4-time champions were upset in their season opener after having fallen to the JT Lady Jaguars and they sought to make amends.

In their way was a Magic Stormers who hadn’t played a game this season.

After the first quarter, JKL Lady the game 21-14 but they sealed the game in the second.

Magic Stormers scored just 2 points in the second quarter and JKL scored 15 to make it a 20-point lead at halftime.

Despite a much better outing in the second half, the Magic Stormers were stuck in a deep hole and a 20-point comeback against the Lady Dolphins was near impossible.

JKL went on to win the game 65-48.

JKL Lady Dolphins has a 1-1 record and will be back in action on 11th April as they face the UCU Lady Canons.

The Magic Stormers were in action for the first time this season and lost their game.

They shall face the Angels next on Wednesday 2nd April.
