The Miracle Eaglets became the second team to score 100+ points in a game after thumping the Nkumba Lady Marines 101-54 on Wednesday 9th.
Miracle Eaglets came into this game on the back of a crucial 80-75 victory against the KCCA Leopards 2 weeks back.
The Lady Marines were seeking their first win of the season after having lost the first 4 games but it was going to be a long day.
The Eaglets dominated the first quarter winning it 24-8 to establish an early 16-point lead.
In the second, quarter improved offensively to match the Eaglets 20 points in the quarter.
Mariam Namukwaya scored 12 points in the second quarter to finish the first half with 20 points.
In the third quarter, Miracle engaged a higher gear offensively and Nkumba was blown out.
They scored 34 points to Nkumba’s 8 to make it a 42-point game.
Mariam Namukwaya was still hungry for more and she scored 13 while Brenda Alyano who had been quiet on the scoreboard went for 9 points.
At this point, it was a done deal and the fourth quarter was just about racking some stats.
