Rezlife Saints made it 4 wins in 5 games after defeating Livingstone 58-48, condemning them to their 5th loss this season.

The Saints made a 15-point comeback in their last game against Sommet to win 73-51 and wanted to build on that against Livingstone.

Coming into the game, the 2023 FUBA Division One Champions, Livingstone, had lost 4 of their 5 games and were seeking something positive.

Despite coming very close in their last 2 games, they were unable to finish them off and that’s how they find themselves in mucky waters which are difficult to navigate.

It was a very low-scoring first quarter which ended at 10 apiece.

A much better offensive display in the second quarter ensued, but it was the Saints who took the lead, 30-24, into the halftime break.

Rezlife did not score a point in the first 4:50 minutes of the second quarter, but they scored 4 consecutive triples and made a 17-0 run to take a 12-point lead.

Akris Ainomugisha closed the quarter with 6 unanswered points for Livingstone to make it a 6-point game.

Livingstone tried to stay in the game but their offense wasn’t ‘giving’.

They scored just 9 points and 0 in the final 4 minutes of the quarter.

Rezlife extended the lead to 11 points ahead of the fourth quarter and at this point, it was their game to lose.

Diopa Durocher scored 10 of Livingstone’s 12 points in the first 5 minutes as they cut the deficit to 3 points with 4:56 left.

However, once again, they were unable to complete the mission. Rezlife outscored them 10-3 in clutch time and won the game 58-48.
