The NBL Game Week 3 had a couple of interesting results and some players put on a show.

We take a look at some of the standout performers and what they accomplished.

Apugi Acinbai

Apugi leads the way after setting a record as the first player to register 20+ points and 20+ rebounds in a game.

He set this record as the Rezlife Saints made a comeback to defeat the Victoria Crocs 63-57.

On Saturday against the UCU Canons, he did not have a good outing, finishing with 8 points and 7 rebounds.

However, he sustained a minor injury which meant that he had reduced minutes on the floor (20) from his usual 30+.

He registered 11 points, 9 rebounds,  3 steals, and 1 block in the final game of the game week as Rezlife secured a 73-51 victory against Sommet.

Christian Ndibu

Christian Ndibu has been a force for the Kampala Rockets over the last 3 games and he had a big impact in their 2 wins in game week 3.

He was by far the best player on the floor on Sunday 6th as the Rockets outlasted Livingstone, 58-54, the result.

He finished with 16 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks.

In the game on Saturday against Sommet, Ndibu came off the bench and impacted the game.

He registered 11 points, 9 rebounds and 1 block.

Puati Ozias Kikomba

Just like Christian, Ozias was a problem for the opponents in the interior.

He had arguably his best performance of the season, production-wise, against Sommet finishing with 14 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals.

In the preceding game against Livingstone, he only had 6 attempts from the field but nonetheless was effective.

He finished with 9 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 4 blocks.

James Okello

Okello registered a double-double in back-to-back games in game week 3.

He had 10 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block as Namuwongo defeated JKL Dolphins 91-79.

On Friday against the JT Jaguars, Okello was very active on offense and defense.

He registered a team high 11 rebounds, 16 point, 5/7, 83% FG, game-high 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

Okello also had the highest +/- with 32 and was the only player with 30+ in this game.

Jimmy Enabu

Enabu completes the team after his wonderful outing on Friday against the JT Jaguars.

He finished with 20 points, 9/15 FG, plus 7 rebounds and 5 steals.

Jimmy did not have the best of outing (statistics-wise) in the game against the JKL Dolphins on Wednesday.

He finished with 6 points,  3 assists, and 4 steals but had 3/12 from the field.
